Over time we shall be adding more cocktail recipes and ideas to the website. If you have a great idea for a cocktail using our smoked sugar and would like us to try it out and list online we would be delighted to, just get in touch with your recipe!
1. The sugar:
Pour your Smoky Brae Smoked Sugar sugar onto a saucer, plate, or a rimming dish. Use plenty to make sure the rim gets covered, and make sure the circle of sugar is bigger in diameter than the rim of your glass.
2. Moisten the rim:
Whether you’re using a citrus wedge or a sponge dipped in liqueur, rub it along the glass at a slow steady pace to make it even.
Simply slice a lemon or strawberry for example and create a slit to rub round the rim of a glass.
3. Twist or Dip the glass into the sugar:
Some bartenders just stamp the glass once, but most twist to get more sugar on the rim.
